Learning Sight Words With QR Links

In my efforts to support children’s reading I decided to create audio files, accessed through QR links of sight words.

The idea was to support busy families and children’s independent learning. This way children scan the code with a QR reader (there are many free QR apps) as they learn common sight words.

Initially I read the words, until I realised this could become a fun activity! It was then that I realised that I could record reading the words with a request for children to read them in a quiet voice, a loud voice, a frog voice…and the list goes on!
